Job Capsule

1. Responsible for a specific area of project management (i.e. scheduling, cost management, risk management, vendor coordination, etc.). Supports the Project Manager and their associated projects.

Job Duties/Roles
1. Involved in the management of multiple vendor projects and/or small-scale projects
2. Initiates and implements Vendor Coordination/Project Management procedures for assigned responsibilities
3. Assist in the development of schedules/timelines/cost plans that support the business objectives, established budgets, resources, and project deliverables for each project
4. Support day-to-day execution of the overall project delivery process.
5. As directed monitor that projects are executed within approved budget and schedule and in accordance with company Quality requirements
6. Support the managing risks and issues
7. Prepares technically accurate and timely reports related to the project.
8. Support Managing stakeholders’ communication and prepare communications for management and updates.
9. Assist in managing the main project documentations such as the project initiation document.
10. Prepares accurate and timely reports related to project progress to internal/external stakeholders on a regular basis as assigned
11. Support invoice development that are properly prepared in accordance with contractual terms and are issued to clients in a timely manner.
12. Performs follow-up on outstanding vendor/project issues necessary to support the fulfilment of ABS deliverables
13. Prepare and submit time charge records and expense reports in a timely manner in accordance with company procedures

Job Requirement

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required (KSAR)

1. Ability to speak and write English fluently
2. Knowledge of project management methodologies and techniques
3. Ability to work positively with the wide range of individuals involved in the project
4. The ability to identify, analyze and solve project related problems.
5. Ability to organize, plan, monitor and control project contractual requirements, budgets, schedules and technical work.
6. Ability to utilize personal computer applications including spread sheets, word processors, email, and internet browsers.
7. Ability to communicate technical aspects of projects and of work assignments to peers and clients.
8. The desire and ability to work as a member of a team.
9. Realization of financial aspects of approved business plans and budgets pertaining to the project.
10. Working knowledge of the ABS Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental Management System.

Minimum years of Experience

1. Typically requires a minimum of 1-year project management related experience.

Required/Preferred Education Requirements

1. Typically requires a Bachelor degree or equivalent experience and at least one year of experience in the maritime and/or offshore industry

Required/Preferred Professional Requirements

1. Preferably holds a PMI-PBA, PMI-ACP, PMI-RMP, PMI-SP or a general certification in Project Management
